Sorry, yes Hello ...
I am back. Where have I been? What have I been doing. None of it matters. I am back.

Why is it so much easier to pedal in the evenings. I even beat my record to Keston Common tonight without really trying - 00:18:07

Not all in one go though … today was 3 cycle rides really. The first was my usual loop through the country lanes, peace, quiet and early morning sunshine. The two later rides were to the hospital and back, along busy roads and through noisy traffic. Still much better than car or bus though ….

Lovely ride out over the usual loop after a bit of a camping induced rest. Brilliant!

Sometimes as I cycle I start to wonder about things. Nothing too important. Just ideas buzzing around in my head. But not today. Today my head was empty. And so I had a lovely ride with an empty head. Good stuff.

The day of the flying ants has arrived. But they cant catch me as I wheel through the busy roads out to my usual countryside loop. It is hot. It is still. And it is sunny. I love the summer, ants or no ants …

Mid morning ride out after dropping FloFlo off at school. It is raining but I dont care. The roads are slippy so I go steady. My Howies shorts are dry as soon as the rain stops and the warm air dries off the roads in no time. What a lot of beardy men there are on their bikes today!

Just me and the early morning roads today. Oh, and Groove Armada’s Black Light for company.

Cycling into a wind is much more difficult than cycling on a still day. Especially when it is hot too. But it is still cycling. And it is still fun.

Get out early before the sun gets hot. A new motto for the beautiful sunny summer time.  The South East of England is a wonderful place to be.

Went out for an early evening spin when Mr.P arrived home. Set off to follow my usual short loop into a headwind and kept on going into a headwind all the way. It was hot, very hot and seemed to get hotter. And every corner I turned seemed to turn inot the same headwind. Or maybe that was just me, after all, did I mention I was permanently cycling into a headwind….

Super sunny. Super quiet at 07.50am. Super time watching the Tour 10 Prologue yesterday. Super spinny legs. Super sunday morning ride.
